Was good surprisingly, not something I would pay to see but as I was transferring V's old docs from pc to pc, I looked, yes I watched...Rhianna...one name...many gifts...upon her return y.day she was treated like a queen, literally...even had a big concert tribute in town and thing...when I got home from V, it was halfway finished, saw Kidsite performing "pig tails" funny song, funnier lyrics. From that didn't even wait to see Robyn onscreen, went straight to beddy. Awoke this morning w/ a call from a "samantha", wrong no. but she liked my voice and got to talking (who likes early morning voices). As we spoke I maintained/overhauled my PC. I'll look forward to THE ESSENTIAL MIX and be jolly. Also also was browsing the new k.i.t.t (KNIGHT INDUSTRIES THREE THOUSAND) looks neat. J2 hope you aren't seriously in any trouble man. yes today is the day I was born a few odd years ago.

Mil-Wau-Kee

Right so the man is in the US - Milwaukee specifically...BLOODY cold.......seriously...enjoying it tho..just here charging the pod, listenin to di.fm and keeepin up to date on the net. Came across some nokias that I had never heard about; the n98 and the aeon also another one that I can't quite remember..also came across a new sony ericsson. I'm glad Amy won her grammy's (5)..strange performance tho "she is so obviously stoned" - Britney Spears...and rhi-rhianna anna anna anaa a a who won 1. Didn't really see much of the show tho just the important bits..I'm into stage6 now, no more bad quality vids (bye tubeyou) I saw bass hunter's botenanna english version there so it holds a very special place in my heart.. So I saw 1st Sunday + Mad Money on sunday w/ rich, cool films, too bad 1st sunday leaned more to the G rating...was funny with that bit with mordecai, also featured the very lovely malinda williams..mad money was the better of the 2...Here in Chi-town they're currently showing bucket list, the eye and some other popular ones that I can't remember..Oh step up 2 begins here on Valentines...I've been listening to an independent alternative radio station 102 it's pretty good. I just tuned into mix-bdos.. they're playing maroon 5. go mix go.

Still no time to blog really...then again not much going on that's bloggable...Took a walk to Enterprise/Atlantic Shores on monday, a nice long walk, too bad I didnt have a soundtrack (didn't take my pod). Read 5 Details mags from last year....Interesting reading...Got some new music, favourite single I love right now has to be "ching-a-ling" from missy. Tis sposed to be on the soundtrack of Step Up 2..really can't wait..did some music for my neighbour also got to do two discs for my supervisior's daughter...Got a lot of ideas for new mixes...been laggin on my tshirt designs, reorganizing my music and cataloging new ones, among other things...Time - we must use it wisely. Finally got a version of the "entertainer" - 90.7fm's SUNSET SONG!!!..Haven't been online much, so probably behind current pop culture..oh booked my flight and such for Sunday...might go to the downtown cinema this weekend for First Sunday and Mad Money. What's this I hear about Amy not being at the Grammy's on Sunday..US don't mess about. Her music is really really good, reminiscent of the golden oldies - classic...I hope she wins all her nominations...Found a nice looking truck on autoblog the Alton Mfg F-650 XUV. Never heard of it until now...I'm off to prepare m+c w/t & b. decipher that :}

Cloverfield___ A Bad Robot production

So went to the Olympus and saw the much hyped Cloverfield last night....Very interesting film, very cleverly done. Of course I had read the wiki before...so I knew what to expect..somewhat. First, it started like a party video, I think that went on too long..the party i.e. THEN the action, the building shaking, the frantic running, the rolling of the Liberty Statue head in the road where they stood...Film goes on and what is strange is that you don't really see the full size of the monster thingy until the middle...the group walks into the subway, main character guy tells his mom his brother died, the group goes in the tunnels...ooh horrible, spider-like creatures, probably the spawn of the monster which was currently destroying the NYC attacks...One of the group is bitten pretty badly...right.... goes on...group travels to a friend's apartment, rescues her, boards a helicopter...Ahhh this when we get a real feel of the monstosity, It's big! Really Big..US Army fires everything they have and can at it, it gets hit and appears to be down, then AAAAAHH it rises and lashes out at the helicopter which loses control and crashes...2 survive and shelter under a bridge, their last words are I love you, I love you, then, the bridge collapses around them..TragiC...THE FILM ENDS..interestingly without further reason...People in the cinema were like 'It Done???!" SCHTUSPPES! Mind you this film was shown in a camcorder format with lots of jumpy scenes...Lovely....OOOH nice part was the closest we got to see of the monster, bloody git filming just happened to be between the many legs oF the thingy, It bows it head, zooms in AAAANNNND...Lol..Brilliantly done man (JJ Abrams, best film I've seen for the year...Previews in the cinema were The Eye, They will Be Blood, Vantage Point, Jumper, 10000 b.c and the spoof parody Meet The Spartans, I wish they had previewed Step Up 2: The Streets...Off to Shack Out. Lol

Odd cents. Odd sense.

Chaaaa, lots of stuff I've had doing, tis so flippn hard to find time to post...About 27 Dresses - romantic wedding-infested comedy featuring Katherine Heigli (Cosmo's cover girl-Jan 08) who makes her debut as the bridesmaid-dress-addicted-marriageloving star and there's James Mardsen (who looks nothing like he did on Hiairspray) the cynic-marriagehaterguy who lives his double life as a commitments-writer. Nice love story with a decent twist - meet someone, date, argue, date, marry...lol if only twas that easy..BMA's - heard a lot about the awards, Beenie Man was there, Sizzla gave an extremely lively performance, oooh, my good friend Philip of Masala got an award, Rihanna won all of her awards, quite obvious (is there any local competition?) A list of all the awards can be found at boycevoice. Took some photos early yesterday morning at dawn (too lovely a sight to resist), don't really know why I was up, but alas..tried using different modes with mom's shitty C300...Did a diwali riddim mix that sucked, got to try over, I'll try to mix cleaner like that gang war riddim medley I heard today...Music - Best Rapper right now, people have said is Lupe Fiasco, who has that hit song "superstar" that I've been hearing really often. Mom bought Shaggy's Intoxication album but alas, it won't play in the store stereo, was trying to ascertain why but so far, no luck. Nice songs though, lyrically_loaded...Found a new method of organising my files and the work I do daily that's really NEAT and also got the MS font embedding thingy. Was sorry to hear of the Guyana-murders and the carjacking here yesterday, justice is needed! Tonight is the Banks Beer reggae night at Jumbies with "rudeboy " J-Co and David "green camouflage" Kirton (pretty nice site), too tired to go.....plus I'm doing an old dub cd for a workmate...To go to the Olympus this weekend to see either Cloverfield, This Sunday or Atonement, that is the question.
