yeah i kno, odd name for a blog right? Cooked some soya chunks w/ green string beans, experimenting really...yesterday, but not before doing some hard fricking work at Thyme Bottom..thinking about upside down company names..upside downright side up graphics, upsidedowntopsyturvy.com, that sort of thing...dos movies, two films which I watched at the cinema downtown - 27 DRESSES and GOOD LUCK CHUCK, I liked but rottttttten tomatoes didn't...The 2nd time going to the big screen for the year (1st was sat 12th - AVP2 - sucky!). Previews were Vantage Point, JUMPER, Rambo, Mad Money and This Sunday (Opening here on wednesday)...1st film good luck chuck was funny rather humourous with lots of crude humour, read that this was the director's first film, I reckon he did a decent job. Basic story: Chuck/Charlie is a single guy, with the ability to bag any lady as he was hexed from a young age, so that any lady he sleeps with will be married to the next guy they meet who shall be everything they wanted. Now meet miss alba, a straight klutz obsessed with penguins (penguin pu--y she was referred to at one point), Chucks falls for her but she won't have it as she thinks Charlie just bags ladies for the fun of it among other reasons, nice twist when good ole Charlie has to fix her chipped tooth, charge her battery and take her home for her car keys after she's locked them in. Things progress and Chucky realises he has to find an absolute way to keep her, so he overly dotes over her and she loses interest...watch the film and see how it works out... oooh oooh best times the crowd response was louder than the film were the many ladies and sex positions Charlie put down esp the police lady.. and when the poor guy got electrocuted. The other fim - 27 Dresses, nice romantic comedy (more details soon). The BMA (Barbados Music Awards) were Sunday night, heard they were good performances... more soon...
AHH, the sweet weekend is here, after a long bloody week, one can ummm relax? Really now who actually relaxes on weekends - not moi. So supported jose carlos session at mix fm station last night, man using new mixer - 5 channels - NUTS. Went for coffee at Qside after...Met one called Rich, bloody cool guy - interesting me with his talk about investments and bank growth funds. good stuff. Walked to the gap, was contemplating Jumbies, place looked empty at like 11.20pm, what happened JUMBIES...ya raassssssssss----?! Walking along the stretch, who did I happen to see but Renee (old friend of April 07 (nice dancer, very nice dancer)) who I bet would have been going to jumbies...Played COD4 for the first time on a "hacked" (no conflict w/ keys) bajan server...cool man...Reflecting on the week, after seeing J-2 on thursday, conversing with one mr. smith and purchasing a dell vostro MT for unc, can't really say it's been a bad week...read this morning the Mac Book Air review from engadget, sexy laptop - what I find outstanding is the harddrive, can you say a mere 1.8 inches in size? same used in small PMP's? Outrageous...oooh spotted a canidate for the likebigrockblog header, a nice bjn big rock, capturing an image is really all that's left...swizz beatz song "blow my mind" has to be my fav currently, also have to mention UGK "int'l player's anthem" sweet lyrics...Off to transfer music for Pilly junior....
"yo b, tha pizza like big rock" basically means the pizza is really really good, no no just good, REALLY REALLY GOOD, when a bajan uses the term "like big rock" one can assume the item associated must be the top of it's class. Due to my past "failed" online journals, I'll have to hope this one proves that I can maintain a blog....weekly rather than the alternative past (after about 2 weeks of not posting anything at all, never use it again) hmm. right off to do something else....
