refers to lupe fiasco - the cool [finally acquired a copy] and tha carter iii - lil wayne [1,000,6000 sold 1st week]. the cool fiasco - lupethefiasco.blogspot.com, is really neat, what a tight big words lyricsist he is, fav tracks maybe dumb it down [theyre starting to think that smart is cool (dumb it down)], paris, tokyo and the final track go girl [for the girls]. As I began listening I thought to myself the first few tracks aren't all they could be. Was surprised to see that daydreaming wasn't on the album. heard 2 mentions of lupen - his supposedly next album. intruder alert is also a very good listen.
The greatest rapper alive - he calls himself, guy called lil weezy. tha carter 3: good bloody lyrics, coming at you fast, furious [actually has a part in F+F: 4 next year] and making complete sense, songs like dr carter, let the beat build [kanye prod.], lala [david banner prod], mrs officer [hotter than lollipop] and of course a milli, [a million sold, wait for the carter 4; something along those lines he rapped after the news of a million sold. source: vid on youtube]. heard a chris brown rap [i'm a beast, every competion come please, lock em up, lock em up, just put em on freeze, on ice, i'm doing things that rappers dont like] on the a milli beat going around on certain hiphop blogs and more recently a reply/diss by neyo to said CB rap [i aint lyin man your girls fav song is my mine | pack it up and send him home, pen or by microphone, by the time they reach my level, man i'm already gone]. Comfortable [kanye prod feat babyface] and phone home also good listens. albums comes with 7extra bonus tracks w/ artwork featuring a very young wayne mimicking the BIGGIE SMALLS ready to die cover. One of my fav lyrics;

Did a mix of house, new house [first mix on the xps], more minimal and progressive with not much vocals. approx 69mins. Asked my resident DJ mentor what he thought and the guy was...[ya better than the last but not ready for bbados]. I'm like ok, wait for the vocal to that mix. Did a vocal [kept being interrupted by tourists] after that but yet to hear him critique. mix Fm. No Annie. Heard a rumour she's broke away from scott and hence....Scott on the shift - 6-10, but not every morning, most morns theres no one (and no news) X man been's out sometimes as well with rebel doing double shfts ALAS Annie has finally returned, from Today, tis so lovely to hear her terrific voice. Wonder if all this stress is what caused omar to have a stroke 2 thurs back. [he's OK now though] NEVERTHELESS theyve brought on some new chicks, the Mixfm girls, theyre calling them...really brightening up the whole dreariness atmosphere..esp the super tall model-like girl who was there on that Friday Night., Ads and more ads are becoming the order of the weeks as we are all in cropover mode, with bandfetes going on and artists visiting the stu.

SAW the film made after the book [neat graphic site], on Tuesday w/ VEE'S cousins from TRINbago. A packed cinema, [sold out more than likely] with the new manager lady [the voice you hear when you call the hotline] working the door. [heard about phil being voted out of his own company, how sad]. Before the trailers began, they started with Rihanna - take a bow music video..[new single she has called disturbia doing well on TUNESi]. The movie itself was neat [very neat intro], not very gory but suspenseful. Best scene; I think may be when the lady was trying to cut out the growing weed from her hip and head. very gory. AND of course when they followed the noise of the ringing into the hole only to realize the bloody vines mimicked the shrill noise. That was good. Remebered in the cinema someone shouted "i dunno why i come hay fo" [repeating the new peter ram african soca song] when the group realized they wont be getting any help soon. Ended like a sequel but with only two chaps discovering the ruins, who knows.

Aqua (made with passion) was to be the best yet, I thought to myself as the facebook (definite) invitees increased gradually to 200+. The party was ON, but it wasnt especially special, nothing really stunning went on, there was good music as always [the where is osama track comes to mind], in general people came and had a good time, which is what we were aiming for. Xtreme had a party the same night, wonder what went on there... J.Miranda mentioned Benny Benassi [been listening to his new Rock N Rave lately] maybe coming next month along with Bob. Bob Sinclair that is. Metronome's been poppin up all recently, in the song no handle bars by the flobots and one of weezy's songs.
