so my mobile [nokia e62] isn't working, no matter what store I take it to. There is one last obscure person, I'm going to try before I officially decommission it [read:destroy]. Such a shame as I've written all my cinema outings in the calender app. This means I'll have to try and remember all the films Ive seen since Feb.09, so that in turn I could post and updated "Films I've Seen For The Year" post.
The last film I've seen was "The Knowing". Saw it last night with Angels + Demons [had the book, didn't read it]. 2 top thrillers. Brilliant action scenes with Clive in Knowing. The airplane crash scene seemed like if you were there, the way the plane just slid across the highway, rolled, tumbled and ended up on the field, amidst random explosions! DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA!!



Brilliant then there was the subway, oh my the subway was even more horrific. You just had to be in the cinema to feel those vibrations and rumblings. Will there really be a time when the sun demolishes the entire earth? This was the question on my mind directly after. How interesting is it, that the last trip I made to the cinema before last night was; to see Duplicity [also starring Clive]. Next, he's in The International [still hasn't reached our shores as yet]. Somehow I always get mixed up with Clive and Nicolas Cage.
Ron Howard's Angels + Demons had a terrific twist at the end. A very nice twist indeed.

Spent some time with Char up OCEAN CITY [I profess to be the loveliest place on this island!]. We took some images, but little does she know I would have taken a few of her when she was oblivious to the area of which my cam was pointing! haha

my last house/club mix, of which I am listening to as I hack away at the touchscreen keyboard of the cracked iPod touch. This mix was done just before Easter, just before I installed windows 7, just before the power rail on my m1330 gave out and the dapple was no longer alive. Still, I am without my precious laptop, took it to the folks @ tropical computers (dell's authority here) to have them tell me I've got get a new motherboard. After I told them it just needs the bloody power rail. So likw an ass,I'll buy the motherboard, then pay you 172.50/hour to "install" it, then to have you realize only a power rail was needed? After all new motherboard or not, the computer can't function without POWER, which is what the power rail facilitates. Imagine I had to pay 86.25 for a 'diagnosis'. I already know what is wrong with my system (after careful research), therefore I paid a fee for you to tell me what I already insisted I know. This just makes the situation worse!

Chris brown released a new mixtape, featuring an apology to rihanna. Sounds pretty neat. I've been listening a lot to busy signal. The guy has lyrics. Songs like 'decide find ansa' 'up inns belly' and 'beep'. I'm liking kanye's take on beyonce's 'ego' and the track with estelle, dj class and Yeezy! Yeezy made the fromtpage of GQ back in march and was featured in Details of the same month. Just two of the books I've taken from the library on my last trip. Also the story of Jamaican music (a big glossy book about how reggae truly came about). I even found the 4 cd album to boot. Then there's sandra browne 'love's encore' (which I read in it's entirety last Saturday) a bit dissapointing, but it's a classic from very early in her career. The last juror is the final novel I have to read before returning to the library.
