I lost the battle. I've given up on engadget, the only way I can see myself keeping up to date is to take a day [all of 18hours], start reading the site from the 1st post of the year...which is, going through approx 920pages...I'll rss them from august, hopefully....OK Caribbean Wete Fete 2008 w/ artists Beenie Man, Mad Dog, Machel and local entertainers happened on Sunday, passed to see the girls..many girls, 'not nearly' well dressed....
Surprising how many people were there *paying*...seems the promoters made a killing, as did the boutiques...People don't seem to realize money is going to be hard to acquire very soon, yet most are spending away on [brand name clothes], [crop-over band jumping fee] and [fetes - entrance and drinks].
Miss Universe also happened on Sunday resulting in the lovely [] miss Venezuela conquering...[about the 100th time venezuela won]....
Been seeing some BIG, red and yellow real estate for sale signs along Hastings, mostly prominent in the H-Rocks area....[really have to try that new pizzeria]...'That' tower down 'there' is finished as well, seen my man barry gale [not to be confused with the rally driver] has a shiny new officia...

bfp said it basically already.[as HAVE I vocally]..But again in my own terms..I can't understand why young girls [say 14-19 - gets lower every year they say] are conceiving offspring..Girls still in school [secondary] may be lead a-stray by the men [school boys, van-men, men they don't much about], who hit and run...leaving them at such a young tender age to mother a child...What do they know about being a mother when they still need mothering themselves, they're still children basically [living under someone's roof]..I find it sad and pitiful when you see them on the bus, with their pregnant bellies looking for seats...Does the guy you are breeding for, not have transport? Will you/he be able to support your child financially and morally [not the right word]....Sad...You don't see any other demographic here having children at such a young age, they would wait until they can support [living on their own, with own transportation] before family-planning also they would probably stop after 2 children..but most of said young girls keep going...
Things have changed much from the good ole days [I won't say how]...Someone should write a book stating How Not To Be Fooled Into Love and get pregnant before you're ready.....
OBESITY..I live in a land of fat people [mostly girls]...It's getting harder to find slim girls with the right personality...,true you may find an pleasant extrovert overweight chick who is happy with her size, but why won't they take care of the body? [are you from a 'fat' family, break the chain and be the slim one out]..No one means for you to look like a stick but be in your designated weight-to-age ratio...after all Obesity is unhealthy in many ways..[exercise and eat healthy, moderately]..much more I can say but I'm stopping here...

I'm beginning to despise Barbados' biggest cinema...Went to see Wall-e [6.30] on sat, asked when I was buying my ticket if I might stay to see pathology [9.30] if I waited...Lady at the box office said I suppose..saw the film, waited approx 20mins after..loitering around basically...asked the lady night manager if it was really OK to wait around [my mistake]...'No!' then mentioned I could have easily slipped in [the two films were being shown in the same room: Havana], and no one would notice, with which she promptly responded 'someone would be @ the door, checking tix'. I then asked if she would get one of the SAFE guys to escort me out, her answer; was gently pushing me towards the door, at which I said no, TIS ok....I'll go...Well I did get to see pathology that night, but with a paid ticket..same room, NO ONE at the door checking tix, but what do you know a couple sat close by brought microwave popcorn [wonder if it was in a cooler bar or recently popped [probably in the mall]] and some drinks....
On tuesdays, when a film was sold out [College Road Trip and Indiana Jones sold out tonight], you could buy a ticket for another show, mention to the doorman/lady some mumbled excuse and they would allow you in...That was then, now the great Anthony is there [the other night manager] with the actual 2nd owner as backup...No easing in is possible [so as not to be overpopulated w/ppl sitting on the side/stairs]....but they are now allowing you to refund your tix [the ones you would have tried to used to ease in]...when on the ticket it states all sales FINAL [check for accuracy]...Irredeemable filth!
Soon hellboy 2..B8minutes later [tic tock tic tocky]..at least the globe is supposed to have Made Of Honour and What Happens In Vegas tomorrow, So olympus won't be seeing me at all, unless they got Wanted [heard it's like matrix vs. 300 - action to the end]....
