pranksters original paticipating in network flyouts

I'm back like eminem's relapse
I'm back like rihanna
back like boys 2 men, back like nkotb
back like oasis in a metal jacket, no i mean, metallica
OH that doesn't make sense? well re-place me on the lyrics bench

Moving into your first flat by yourself is a big task! Starts and ends have to be taken care of, and odd things put in place
much time it requires....

you know it's the winter season when the dark in Barbados commences at 5.30pm.
you know it's the winter holiday season when x-mas decors begin showing up in stores. [ShopSMART was first as always]

I've been seeing bloody zillions of x-mas "worms", not even zillions, the amount I've been observing of these creeps of crawl is a number humanoids can't fathom, a number of about 40 zeros like 1,0000,00000,00000,0000,00000,0000,000,0000,000,000. What is interesting is; this time around 365 days ago, not a single of these harmlessess could be found...

Do you GRiD? Codemasters [Colin Mcrae franchise] released [june 2008] an advanced racing simul called simply racedriver: GRID! Graphics look uber-appealing. As I have to start an engine, I don't much of the gameplay but I do hope to soon. Blame D.E Computers in Sheraton for having a hi-def wallpaper on their 20 inch display monitor near the entrance for my sudden interest. Does this mean NFS:Undercover has a competitor!

We've had a car show [which i missed] this past weekend, featuring 2009 automobiles,
customized/tuned rides, antique/classic models and celebs! A very peculiar ad was aired by The McNearney's team compliments of "Nard". The super-special stage [dexterity=spins] of the recent rally club ended at the GYMnasium where this show was held.

the Virgin Atlantic Music Fest [10 days of concerts]: headlining by THE DUB PISTOLS [yeaaah blood!]
The pistols have collaborated with some huge acts! Very recently our own RedStarLion [myspace]
Performing also should be Kite w/ Billy Kinkaid, the Billy Armstrong Blues band, Roadhouse and a guy that Mike Skinner looks up to [Rodney P]. Much more, of course...only 100 bucks for the entire festivities.

Ok ok, I am the bloody pun-king!
No, I'm not, Lil Weezy is. Who else can do a play on/of words four times?! Maybe mr fiasco? A double-pun brilliancy. Ha! Saw on fb last week, Billy's status was something about for play/fore play...nice.

old actual unfortunate NEWS puns I found in an old electronic mail:

Don't we not all, love irony/ironing. I've been in a flipping world of punks this month.

By now, everyone should know that the 5800 has been released! [THAT'S NOKIA btw]
So what's up with Digicel and sim card registration failed? 8 days is the length of time both my sims had been messing about in my nokias. Surprisingly when I use the chips with my older nokia, there are no problems...Has this been the reason for the long queues of disgruntled customers in Digicel stores all over the island recently? Maybe I better join that group of people...but wait it's working fine now....bloody rising stars. [sidenote: the stars, the past few nights have been beautifully plentiful and bright, just like the fake ones in smallville....]
God's NIGHTLIGHTS.
last night I saw a falling light [a good title for a song?]

Culinary Olympics seem fascinating! It's what every big chef in the world looks forward to.
It's going to be soon time to take out the old recipes books, all hail the return of the kitchen experimentalist! Almost always fun having to decide what to eat for dinner when on your own. [chinese? big john's? breakfast foods? milkshakes? pastries?]

MixFm acquired Fuzz
I missed DJ Carlos' session twice in a row, not to mention the last party [casa grande], heard it bombed... someone tell me it aint so.....Now I've seen a petition group on fb about a request for another aqua? Tonight is Abraham's first official event [in my books]; Planet Dance in St. Lawrence Gap @ Club NXS!
Really wondered who was playing on mix fm, last thursday morn from 9.20am - 9.50am? Was it the new guy, I saw Scott showing the controls of simian [on saturday] or the weatherhead himself? Songs played in that 30mins reminded of the way I first remembered Mix 96.9fm, med alternrock with punk influences - songs I can remember from that set were "flavor of the weak", "story of a girl", and "girl all the badguys" want.
DJ Fuzz, you know the one who was with HottFm, had a funny promo [fuzzy wuzzy was a bear, fuzzy wuzzy had no hair]? He is now @ MixFm, working Stokeley's old shift. listening to him yesterday from 10.30 makes me think he's bringing back the mix the radio station was losing, he played some dance [TOP 40 POP REMIXES] music [like housey dance; almost as hardcore as what DJ Carlos plays], then he mixed a Keyshia Cole with another dance track [the womanizer tribal mix! SWEET!] then Beres and finally a old alternative. Unfortunately, after that I had to disengage my ears, but what more of a mix does anyone want!? He plays like me... if I was a radio personality.
My fav song at the moment is: heartless by kanye [how could you be so heartless] easy yeezy.

N.I.F.CA
Barbados' own annual independant creative arts show/contest, semi finals @ the Frank Collymore Hall, sometime coming. I'm really looking forward to going!

Missing out on Heroes, now into the 5th episode of the new season, soon to be corrected. Not even going to glance @ True Blood. [but's its a super neat pun]

Death Race was fantatically brillantly NUTS! [a shame on the original but I loved!!!]

Oh you don't know what to wear as a halloween costume? This year it's easy, do sarah the palin [seems ok 2 me]

I did a new mix, "hiphop 2003 playlist" it uploads as I type. Oh and a mashup, darude's sandstorm vs eric prydz/pryda's pjanoo. A mere 5.40mins, 9mb. Cop it on zippyshare or my favourite file sharing server; boxstr.

Ever heard of the makeup brand "cult of cherry"?

off to work on my first unencyclopedia submission: the life of LiECE
Where else in the world can you rent a tree? IMAGE COMING SOON! it's really funny!
Back like Fuzz
end of the new version of personal notes and that was medium...

food for thinking;
if the human population of earth only uses 20% of our brains, how far advanced in science, computing + technology, would we be, if half of us used 35%?
E said we'd walk on air just by thinking, literally!

Using math while challenging myself, then analyzing racing data

What do you do when you've finished a game? Ended all the levels, gathered all the bounty, unlocked the locked?
You confound yourself of course...

Even though I finished Need For Speed Underground 2, back in [late] 2005, it is the only game I've been showing any interest in. Due to the underpowered chipset, my mobile Dell's graphic's card is based on, I've had to resort to playing low grade games, which meet 268mb [shared] video memory. What this means is, Colin McCrae DiRT, COD 4 and NFS: ProStreet all had to be omitted from my weekly gaming spree. So, being stuck with NFS:U2, and having e completed all the races TWICE, I challenge myself as is the norm. I think...
The titillative thing is, when I battle myself, it's hardly simple.

I have three alter-racer personalities for each race, which in turn means, each race is raced three times. In different cars. There are three teams...3 different soundtracks. [but all racing themed]
1 - Team A - is a group of simple racers, their SMALL cars are designed to look as simple as possible, while packing the latest engine-neering...
Audi.TT [500.1bhp @ 8,950rpms][368.8 pounds of torque @ 6,950rpms][tops @ 216mph]
Audi A3 [510.6bhp @ 7,550rpms][396.4 pounds of torque @ 4,650rpms][tops @ 216mph]
2 - Team B - has the latest in tuning technologies [wide body kits, carbon fibres], the whole works. They like to show off their specs in the form of decals. Many decals...The only lady driver of this hypothetical racing meet is in this group and ironically has the most powerful car!
Hyundai Tiburon [511.8bhp @ 8,100rpms][338.9 pounds of torque @ 7,000rpms][tops @ 222mph]
Nissan 350Z [523bhp @ 7,550rpms][415 pounds of torque @ 5,600rpms][tops @ 222mph]
3 - Team C - may be described as home garage mechanics educated at TOP schools..Crowd pleasers if they were. iHold dear to this group.
Mazda RX:8 [431bhp @ 9,450rpms][256.2 pounds of torque @ 8,400rpms][tops @ 207mph]
Mazda RX:7 [441.6bhp @ 9,250rpms][291.3 pounds of torque @ 7,700rpms][tops @ 213mph]

Races are done on the circuit mode, 3 laps [12 + Arbutus, the exact track] with catch-up-on and traffic-heavy. Each team chooses which car is going to be in the first race. [There are two races at each track; one reverse, and the other forward]
And now the mathematics...
The amount of data that is generated after 6 races, is HUGE. Many many numbers...Questions can be asked.
Who had the fastest lap?
Who posted the quickest race?
Who went the fastest?
Who had the best average speed?

The answers to these questions; I think of, as prizes...
An example of race data I use...

TRACK - 12th + Arbutus [Forward] lap record - 2.04.42
Team A - Audi TT [placed last]
finished in 7.23.75, fastest lap was 2.23.62, speed topped @ 201.4mph, avrg speed - 109.3mph
Team B - 350Z [placed first]
finished in 6.43.99, fastest lap was 2.06.47, speed topped @ 210.7mph, avrg speed - 120.2mph
Team C - RX:8 [placed first]
finished in 6.44.92, fastest lap was 2.09.97, speed topped @ 213.6mph, avrg speed - 120.3mph

TRACK - 12th + Arbutus [Reversed]
Team A - Audi A3 [placed 3rd]
finished in 7.57.49, fastest lap was 2.28.62, speed topped @ 188.8mph, avrg speed - 102.8mph
Team B - Tiburon [placed 1st]
finished in 6.57.40, fastest lap was 2.15.67, speed topped @ 208.3mph, avrg speed - 116.7mph
Team C - RX:7 [placed 1st]
finished in 6.46.18, fastest lap was 2.10.56, speed topped @ 213.7mph, avrg speed - 120.3mph

What if a racer's scores are forfeited if they place anything other than 1st!?
Imagine porting this to a database or graph! or be harsh and envision having a tournament of 1-track-3laps a race, [forward and reverse] with each team's car having a go in each race. [each car would be in 2 runs, forward and reverse, 6 laps]. Envision playing that tournament three times a day. I have yet to try, but I will...

Now where is that old Starcraft install disc....I'm tired of driving.

NINGnong BROADCATXHING in Londinium despising single possesesives has detected a penetration after the space age

JUMBLED INCOHERENCY

Release me from this curse I'm in. Trying to maintain but I'm struggling
I like Rihanna. Let it be known. It's Official. She's got a new album thingie out, featuring tracks from 2006! up to the recent stuff. It's called HOTNESS.

Ok so it was rainy and stuff. Dark rain [the unsunny type married with dreary clouds]. It was prevalent. For about 3 days nonstop, mid-month. A lady was “trapped” in her house and called a radio station frantically stating that the water was coming into her home, going up past the windows. Very Hysterical but Gloomy. A front page of the Nation News paper, featured an image of a flooded area in the North [St. James] the next day. Even news of a guy trapped in his car FLOATING! Hard times for people living in flood-prone areas, they don't like the rain...but Lenny Kravitz does. [in a track on his last album]

tv watching

Heroes is resuming The director is back on the set and already into the 3rd episode on NBC [sept 29] LAST NIGHT!. The 2nd episode of Knight Rider [2008 TV series] is airing next week, also on NBC!
Smallville's new season [8] started airing 2 weeks past. The I.T Crowd is currently shooting the 3rd season.
New trailers I've seen include the latest from the Transformer's [to be shot in IMAX], Saw 5 and Need For Speed:12. Really really been getting into the drama Hotel Babylon narrated by Max Beesley. [was featured in an episode of Hustle] Got a little proud when Barbados was referenced twice [2wice] in season 1, episode 1.
Someone [J-2.O] mentioned I should get into 24...
Action packed/filled Eagle Eye [starring Shia Lebouf] ruled the box office this last weekend. “obey or die”

Hush - a bajan film [about abortion, teenage sex] is showing in the olympus. I haven't decided if i want to see it yet. Produced by the same lady who runs the controversial Christian evangelist tshirt cropover band "walking holy". Read that many teenagers/secondary school students who've seen it are saying "It's so real!" You don't say... Many of the actors also helped on production, sound editing...that sorta thing...

Watched Babylon A.D [just because we're peaceful doesn't mean we're weak], Rocker [i only drum naked], Pineapple Express + Bangkok Dangerous since my last personal post. Neglected the two [G-rated to me] mama films [mama mia + baby mama].

I missed the 60th primetime Emmy's. The big awards though; 30's Rock [NBC] for outstanding comedy series + Mad Men [AMC] for outstanding drama series. Now that setvid.com [hostmedia.us] is for sale, I've had to use wuapi anew for my hi def videos. [yes, I watched heroes season 3, ep1+2 there in full screen @ brilliant quality!] Kill youtube already!!!

the g33k side
Looked under the shiny silver of my retro nano, to find the cause of the deteriorating battery. Not much luck...
229usd for a new 16gb ipod mini from BestBuy! Currently saving..... Not!
"Yahoo released its Fire Eagle location-based social networking platform from beta, opening the technology to developers and the public. Fire Eagle allows users to update their various social networking profiles with information about where they are."
Re-charging my zorpianess [the usual social networking outfit stuff]. Been on there since 2005 but haven't returned not until 2 weeks ago. Interestingness.
Scrapped chrome already for srWare Iron [based on the build using gears but without ANY information being sent to the google servers].
The android g-1 [179usd] might be a bit overrated already, even though it's google's OS and all. It's only the 1
st implementation! Surely there is to be much improvement the second coming...et al 3rd party applications. Wait, didn't google say it WAS to be free?!

Nokia. The 5800 is expected to be publicly exposed on oct. 2. Sweet marketing in the Dark Knight.

got ram?

Magnetoresistive random access memory [MRAM] is a faster and more energy efficient version of the RAM used in computers today, and hardware companies think it will in a few years dominate the market. It's speed and low power will in particular boost mobile computing.

Playlist show

I missed the VMA's. Got to find a healthy recording somewhere, but I know Britney got a bit of awarding. I know Kanye performed his new single Love Lockdown as the finale. I know the host [an english comedian who had a supporting role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall] had to do some apologizings.
I did 3 new MIXes! And a snippet of the unfinished business riddim. The mixstory has been slightly alter-edited.

Metallica and their beards.
A guy refrained from shaving his face until a new metal-llica album was released in 2003. He referred to himself as a tomato with hair. He has since shaved. [rather been shaved by Metallica's lead]. Read an
article about a magazine journalist who was to interview the band, releasing the full album [edited by him], shortening the songs, on torrent. The record company Universal Music has stated he won't be doing any more interviews for any of their artists. Metallica didn't seem to mind though. Fair Use I reckon.
An idea for a radio show; the playlist.

1 hour show featuring only songs of a particular theme/feel. It must incorporate more than 2 genres. The announcer at the end of each show, states the theme/feel for the next show. There will be a webpage [a facebook group page recommended] where listeners can post a song they think should be in the theme/feel for the next playlist show. Maybe I'll pitch that simple idea to MixFm. Good radio is big money after all.

On my apple mp3 player the past fortnight;
keane - spiraling
metallica - the end of the line, the unforgiven III

Music and silence... combine strongly because music is done with silence, and silence is full of music
US News & World Report [23 February 1987] one day after I was birthed!

I remember;
Samud Ali [when he was at MixFm, now he's at LoveFm] on fridays, in his morning show sent a challenge to listeners to call and give a big word [a word not common in daily vocabulary] and after a list of 20 words, he would then create a poem [rhyming] and incorporating all the big words in context. This, I would like to try.
My list of words; Concentric. Ominous. Veracity. Precipitously. Indelible. Semantic.
Copious, Verisimilitude. Pragmatist. Recalcitrant. Philatelic Perpetuity. Subsequently.

Battling politics

So, sarah palin's other e-account got compromised. Nothing really incriminating found. It was all very inconsequential. http://pastebin.com/pastebin.php?dl=f652c44fb

The Music Of Black Origin [mobo] awards come off on october 15th @ wembley and nominated from the Caribbean [only JA] are Etana, Mavado, Busy Signal and Tarrus Riley.

That's Sasha [bet you thought sasha was female] performing using Ableton Live with Macintosh computers. Did you know sasha has team of engineers? I say, let the rise of electro-djs using computers in performances begin! [don't mediate on those who say using software + computers take the challenge and mystique out of DJing]. Now let's see someone perform with dascratch.

how does ministry of sound:barbados sound?

Kanye may have lovelockdown with alexis [his gf before the 2002 crash] if she accepts his marriage proposal. misses alexis west. say 1o times fast. Some people though, have no love. [for lockdown]

Beyonce [is she really preggie?] has a new album releasing soon, among others..[akon, britney]

Isn't it uber-amazing the amount of knowledge on the internets? + people still say they're bored. Depends on your interests. Innit?
Wikipedia even though useful for many things, is not recommended to college students for serious research because of its editorial policy where anyone can edit anything. It is an unreliable source of information.
i wiki-ed it and i read it [sing to the tune of I kissed a girl by katy perry [skeets skeets bff]]

The Shelby Supercars Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo set the new World’s Fastest Production Car record with an average top speed of 255.83 mph.
On a temporarily-closed 2 lane public highway in Washington State, the SSC Ultimate Aero posted a top speed of 257.11 mph [413.83 kph] on its first pass and 254.55 mph [409.71 kph] on its return pass, achieving a new top speed record: a staggering 255.83 mph [411.76 kph]
SSC used a turbo V8 outputting 1183 HP and 1094 lbs. of torque. The use of lightweight carbon fiber materials allows for a low dry weight of 2750 lbs, giving the Aero TT the production record for lbs/hp ratio at 2.33.
The Ultimate Aero achieved 0-60 mph in 2.78 seconds and 1/4 Mile in 9.90 seconds at 144 mph.
The Aero TT is not completely stripped either, it features air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, a navigation system, and a 10 speaker Audio/CD/DVD. Base price is expected to be around $585,000 going 600,000.” 8 radiators cool this beast, oh and it was tested @ NASA to 270mph stable! Almost as good as the reventon/

Horton Hires A Ho
On the fifteenth of June, in the slums of the Valley
With his dirty coke spoon, in the dark of an alley,
He was whizzing in public…one of life’s greatest joys…
When Horton the Whorehunter heard a small noise.

So Horton stopped piddling and he looked for the sound.
Disappointing,” thought Horton. “Not a voyeur around.”
Then he heard it once more! A mere hint of applause.
And he saw her red nails that she brandished like claws.

Hey fella,” said Sheila. “Do you need help to shake it?
Or if you've got fifty bucks, then we might even make it.”
I say!” spluttered Horton. “I’ve never paid more,
Than a buck and a half for a two dollar whore.

Do you know what I think? In a competitive market,
The cheapest garage is the place I will park it.
If you'll charge by the minute for the space you will rent,
Then, I'll agree, it is money well spent.”

Well, I've never met such a cheap, dirty bastard!
Do you shotgun some Lysol, when you want to get plastered?!
Per-minute is fine for a cellular phone,
Not for 'laying some pipe' or to 'bury the bone'”.

So, slowly, and using the greatest of care,
Horton held out a twenty in the cool evening air,
And from his soiled trunk the bill she did pluck,
And he grinned as he spoke, “Nice shoes. Wanna walk?”

Humpf!” humpfed a voice, it was Candi the Crone,
Whose toothless gum jobs were a treat for the bone,
Why, in all of my years, you never gave me a twenty
Though for nickels and dimes I've given you plenty!”

Believe me,” said Horton. “for the width of your girth,
A dime for a deed is as much as you're worth.
Though you must have been hot in the Carter Administration,
You're now just a notch above self masturbation.”

So, please,” Horton said, “as a personal favour,
Take a hike down the street while I try a new flavour.”
I think you’ve been fooled!” said the Crone. “Do you care?”
And she left in a huff in her rusted wheelchair.

Hey, I was kidding! Please don't feel hurt!
If I've got any left, I'll see you for dessert!”
And he turned to where Sheila had been standing and waiting,
But found empty street clad in asphalt and plating.

And Horton ran, screaming, for almost an hour.
'Til he lay down defeated, with his face in a glower.
And I told him, “I hope there's a lesson you've learned,
About loyalty, dignity, and the pain of those spurned.”

And he said, “Yes, indeed. It's a lesson I'll treasure,
'Bout the folly of money in the pursuit of pleasure.”

And I heard him exclaim as he zipped up his pants.
Take it from me — never pay in advance!”

MONKEY MAN
And now if you'll please follow me down the hall, we'll take a look at one of our most recent additions, the Simia erectus species, also known as the Monkey Man. Due to its distinguishable similarities to us humans, it was widely believed until recently that these particular specimens were merely ugly children. However, recent actual accomplishments in the "No Child Left Behind" laws have given us more chances to study these magnificent creatures up close. One of the most fascinating things about this species is that they can go entire days, weeks, even months, doing absolutely nothing, completely oblivious to the world around them. Then again, this individual Simian seems bored by such an uneventful life. This particular Monkey Man enjoys playing with fire, long walks on the beach, and in his spare time likes to peel his bananas. Pun intended.

WEIGHTED MEAN
The weighted mean is similar to an arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), where instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics.
If all the weights are equal, then the weighted mean is the same as the arithmetic mean. While weighted means generally behave in a similar fashion to arithmetic means, they do have a few counter-intuitive properties, as captured for instance in Simpson's paradox.
The term weighted average usually refers to a weighted arithmetic mean, but weighted versions of other means can also be calculated, such as the weighted geometric mean and the weighted harmonic mean.

LIGHT YEAR
A light-year or light year is a unit of length, equal to just under ten trillion kilometres. As defined by the International Astronomical Union (which is the body which has the jurisdictional authority to promulgate the definition), a light-year is the distance that light travels in a vacuum in one Julian year.
A light-year is equal to:
* exactly 9,460,730,472,580.8 km (about 10 Pm)
* about 5,878,625,373,183.61 international miles
* about 63,241 astronomical units
* about 0.3066 parsecs

GAMMA RAY
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are the most luminous electromagnetic events occurring in the universe since the Big Bang. They are flashes of gamma rays emanating from seemingly random places in deep space at random times. The duration of a gamma-ray burst is typically a few seconds, but can range from a few milliseconds to several minutes, and the initial burst is usually followed by a longer-lived "afterglow" emitting at longer wavelengths (X-ray, ultraviolet, optical, infrared, and radio). Gamma-ray bursts are detected by orbiting satellites about two to three times per week, but the number of GRBs that could be observed from Earth is about three times this and is currently limited by the efficiency of the instruments.

NAKED EYE
The naked eye is a figure of speech referring to human visual perception that is unaided by enhancing equipment, such as a telescope or binocular. (It, therefore, does not exclude the use of smaller scale aids such as glasses.) The term is often used in astronomy when referring to events that can be viewed by the general public, such as astronomical conjunctions, passage of comets or meteor showers. Sky lore and various tests demonstrate an impressive wealth of phenomena that can be seen with the unaided eye.

UNCANNY VALLEY
The uncanny valley is a hypothesis that when robots and other facsimiles of humans look and act almost like actual humans, it causes a response of revulsion among human observers. The "valley" in question is a dip in a proposed graph of the positivity of human reaction as a function of a robot's lifelikeness. The phenomenon can be explained by the notion that, if an entity is sufficiently non-humanlike, then the humanlike characteristics will tend to stand out and be noticed easily, generating empathy. On the other hand, if the entity is "almost human", then the non-human characteristics will be the ones that stand out, leading to a feeling of "strangeness" in the human viewer. In other words, a robot stuck inside the uncanny valley is no longer being judged by the standards of a robot doing a good job at pretending to be human, but is instead being judged by the standards of a human doing a terrible job at acting like a normal person.

HOLOGRAHY
Holography is a technique that allows the light scattered from an object to be recorded and later reconstructed so that it appears as if the object is in the same position relative to the recording medium as it was when recorded. The image changes as the position and orientation of the viewing system changes in exactly the same way as if the object were still present, thus making the recorded image (hologram) appear three dimensional. Holograms can also be made using other types of waves.
The technique of holography can also be used to optically store, retrieve, and process information. While holography is commonly used to display static 3-D pictures, it is not yet possible to generate arbitrary scenes by a holographic volumetric display.

Digital holography is the technology of acquiring and processing holographic measurement data, typically via a CCD camera or a similar device. In particular, this includes the numerical reconstruction of object data from the recorded measurement data, in distinction to an optical reconstruction which reproduces an aspect of the object. Digital holography typically delivers three-dimensional surface or optical thickness data. There are different techniques available in practice, depending on the intended purpose.

MASDAR VALLEY
Masdar City is a future "green city" being constructed in The United Arab Emirates. It is a city which is designed to have no carbon emissions, cars, or waste. It will cost $22 billion (£11 billion) and take eight years to make. It will be able to hold a population of 50,000 people and 1,500 businesses. The city will cover 1,483 acres (6.00 km²).
The city will have a personal electrical power supply mainly from two renewable energy sources: wind turbines and solar panels. Water will be provided through a solar-powered desalination plant and air conditioning will be provided naturally from wind towers.
It is planned to save more than $2 billion in oil over the next 25 years along with creating more than 70 000 jobs.
No one has ever built a zero-carbon city before. Nor one producing zero waste or fully powered by renewable energy. Masdar City will accomplish all three,” said Sultan Al Jaber. The city was designed by Foster and Partners, a British company.

BLOOD AND HONOUR
Blood & Honour is a neo-Nazi music promotion network, founded in 1987, that is comprised of white power skinheads and other white nationalists. The group organizes white power concerts by Rock Against Communism (RAC) bands and distributes a magazine of the same name. Ian Stuart Donaldson, singer of the band Skrewdriver, was the founder and one of the prominent leaders until his death in 1993. Blood & Honour took its name from the motto of the Hitler Youth, Blut und Ehre. Sometimes the code 28 stands for Blood & Honour, derived from the second and eighth letters of the Latin alphabet, B and H.
Blood & Honour accepts bands with neo-Nazi, white nationalist or white power views. There are official divisions in several different countries around the world.

OORT CLOUD
The Oort cloud is a hypothetical spherical cloud of comets believed to lie roughly 50,000 AU, or nearly a light-year, from the Sun. This distance places the cloud at nearly a quarter of the distance to Proxima Centauri, the nearest star to the Sun. The Kuiper belt and scattered disc, the other two known reservoirs of trans-Neptunian objects, are less than one thousandth the Oort cloud's distance. The outer extent of the Oort cloud defines the boundary of our Solar System.
The Oort cloud is thought to comprise two separate regions: a spherical outer Oort cloud and a disc-shaped inner Oort cloud, or Hills cloud. Objects in the Oort cloud are largely composed of ices such as water, ammonia and methane. Astronomers believe that the matter comprising the Oort cloud formed closer to the Sun, and was scattered far out into space by the gravitational effects of the giant planets early in the Solar System's evolution.

MIND UPLOADING
In transhumanism and science fiction, mind uploading (also occasionally referred to by other terms such as mind transfer, whole brain emulation, or whole body emulation) refers to the hypothetical transfer of a human mind to an artificial substrate, such as a detailed computer simulation of an individual human brain.

UTOPIA
Utopia is a name for an ideal community, taken from the title of a book written in 1516 by Sir Thomas More describing a fictional island in the Atlantic Ocean, possessing a seemingly perfect socio-politico-legal system. The term has been used to describe both intentional communities that attempted to create an ideal society, and fictional societies portrayed in literature. "Utopia" is sometimes used pejoratively, in reference to an unrealistic ideal that is impossible to achieve, and has spawned other concepts, most prominently dystopia.
The word comes from Greek:
οὐ, "not", and τόπος, "place", indicating that More was utilizing the concept as allegory and did not consider such an ideal place to be realistically possible. It is worth noting that the homophone Eutopia, derived from the Greek εὖ, "good" or "well", and τόπος, "place", signifies a double meaning that was almost certainly intended. Despite this, most modern usage of the term "Utopia" assumes the latter meaning, that of a place of perfection rather than nonexistence. It is a nostalgic question, whether or not utopia exists.

DYSTOPIA
A dystopia (from the Greek δυσ- and τόπος, alternatively, cacotopia, kakotopia, cackotopia, or anti-utopia) is the vision of a society that is the opposite of utopia. A dystopian society is a state in which the conditions of life are miserable, characterized by human misery, poverty, oppression, violence, disease, and/or pollution.

MILITARY ANTI-FASCISM
Militant anti-fascism is a form of anti-fascism that advocates the use of violence against fascism. Within the anti-fascist movement, the term militant anti-fascism is often used in contrast to liberal anti-fascism.
Fascists often use violence and depend on a physical presence in the streets, and militant anti-fascists believe that an equal counterweight is essential to stop fascism. While European liberal anti-fascists either call on the state to censor what they call hate speech or prosecute fascists under existing laws, militant anti-fascists either oppose such calls or put no energy into heeding them. In contrast, militant anti-fascists believe that fascism should be tackled by communities rather than by the state.Militant anti-fascists are usually supporters of class struggle, and view fascism as an anti-working class political system. Militant anti-fascists tend to promote radical anti-capitalist transformation of society, rather than defending the status quo of liberal democracy. This often translates into support for some form of socialism, communism, or anarchism.

SPECIATION
Speciation is the evolutionary process by which new biological species arise. There are four modes of natural speciation, based on the extent to which speciating populations are geographically isolated from one another: allopatric, peripatric, parapatric, and sympatric. Speciation may also be induced artificially, through animal husbandry or laboratory experiments. Observed examples of each kind of speciation are provided throughout.

TRILOBITE
Trilobites ("three-lobes") are extinct arthropods that form the class Trilobita. They appeared in the Early Cambrian period and flourished throughout the lower Paleozoic era before beginning a drawn-out decline to extinction when, during the Late Devonian extinction, all trilobite orders, with the sole exception of Proetida, died out. The last of the trilobites disappeared in the mass extinction at the end of the Permian about 250 million years ago (m.y.a.).
Trilobites are very well-known, and possibly the second-most famous fossil group, after the dinosaurs. When trilobites appear in the fossil record of the Lower Cambrian they are already highly diverse and geographically dispersed. Because of their diversity and an easily fossilized exoskeleton, they left an extensive fossil record with some 17,000 known species spanning Paleozoic time. Trilobites have been important in biostratigraphy, paleontology, and plate tectonics research. For example, trilobites have been important in estimating the rate of speciation during the period known as the Cambrian Explosion because they are the most diverse group of metazoans known from the fossil record of the early Cambrian, and are readily distinguishable because of complex and well preserved morphologies. The trilobites are often placed within the arthropod subphylum Schizoramia within the superclass Arachnomorpha (equivalent to the Arachnata), although several alternative taxonomies are found in the literature.

POSTHUMAN
A posthuman or post-human is, according to the transhumanist intellectuals, a hypothetical future being "whose basic capacities so radically exceed those of present humans as to be no longer unambiguously human by our current standards.
The difference between the posthuman and other hypothetical sophisticated non-humans is that a posthuman was once a human, either in its lifetime or in the lifetimes of some or all of its direct ancestors. As such, a prerequisite for a posthuman is a transhuman, the point at which the human being begins surpassing his or her own limitations, but is still recognisable as a human person or similar.

FM-2030
FM-2030 (October 15, 1930 – July 8, 2000) was a transhumanist philosopher and futurist. FM-2030 was born Fereidoun M. Esfandiary (Persian: فریدون اسفندیاری). He became notable as a transhumanist with the book "Are You a Transhuman?: Monitoring and Stimulating Your Personal Rate of Growth in a Rapidly Changing World", published in 1989. In addition he wrote a number of works of fiction under his original name F.M. Esfandiary. The son of an Iranian diplomat, he traveled widely as a child, living in 17 countries by age 11; then, as a young man, he represented Iran in the 1948 Olympic Games and served on the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine from 1952 to 1954. On July 8, 2000, FM-2030 died from pancreatic cancer and was placed in cryonic suspension at the Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona, where his body remains today.
F.M. Esfandiary changed his name to FM-2030 for two main reasons. Firstly, to reflect the hope and belief that he would live to celebrate his 100th birthday in 2030; Secondly, and more importantly, to break free of the widespread practice of naming conventions that are rooted in a collectivist mentality, and exist only as a relic of humankind's tribalistic past. Traditional names almost always stamp a label of collective identity - varying from gender, to nationality - on the individual, thereby existing as prima facie elements of thought processes in the human cultural fabric, that tend to degenerate into stereotyping, factionalism, and discrimination. In his own words, "Conventional names define a person's past: ancestry, ethnicity, nationality, religion. I am not who I was ten years ago and certainly not who I will be in twenty years. The name 2030 reflects my conviction that the years around 2030 will be a magical time. In 2030 we will be ageless and everyone will have an excellent chance to live forever. 2030 is a dream and a goal."
Many of FM-2030's predictions about social trends from the 1970s through the early 21st century proved remarkably prescient. FM-2030 argued that the inherent dynamic of the modern globalizing civilization would bring such changes about despite the best efforts of conservative elites to enforce traditional beliefs. FM-2030 once said, "I am a 21st century person who was accidentally launched in the 20th. I have a deep nostalgia for the future.

SUPERNOVA
A supernova (plural: supernovae or supernovas) is a stellar explosion. They are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this short interval, a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun could emit over its life span. The explosion expels much or all of a star's material at a velocity of up to a tenth the speed of light, driving a shock wave into the surrounding interstellar medium. This shock wave sweeps up an expanding shell of gas and dust called a supernova remnant.

COGNITION
The term cognition is used in different ways by different disciplines. In psychology, it refers to an information processing view of an individual's psychological functions. Other interpretations of the meaning of cognition link it to the development of concepts; individual minds, groups, organizations, and even larger coalitions of entities, can be modelled as societies which cooperate to form concepts. The autonomous elements of each 'society' would have the opportunity to demonstrate emergent behavior in the face of some crisis or opportunity. Cognition can also be interpreted as "understanding and trying to make sense of the world".

SALVADOR DALI
Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, 1st Marquis of Púbol (May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989), was a Spanish Catalan surrealist painter born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain. Dalí was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. His best known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in 1931. Salvador Dalí's artistic repertoire also included film, sculpture, and photography. He collaborated with Walt Disney on the unfinished Academy Award-nominated short cartoon Destino, which was completed and released posthumously in 2003.
Widely considered to be greatly imaginative, Dalí had an affinity for doing unusual things to draw attention to himself. This sometimes irked those who loved his art as much as it annoyed his critics, since his eccentric manner sometimes drew more public attention than his artwork. The purposefully-sought notoriety led to broad public recognition and many purchases of his works by people from all walks of life.

ATMOSPHERE
An atmosphere (from Greek ατμός - atmos, "vapor" + σφαίρα - sphaira, "sphere") is a layer of gases that may surround a material body of sufficient mass, by the gravity of the body, and are retained for a longer duration if gravity is high and the atmosphere's temperature is low. Some planets consist mainly of various gases, and therefore have very deep atmospheres (gas giants).
The term stellar atmosphere is used for the outer region of a star, and typically includes the portion starting from the opaque photosphere outwards. Relatively low-temperature stars may form compound molecules in their outer atmosphere. Earth's atmosphere, which contains oxygen used by most organisms for respiration and carbon dioxide used by plants, algae and cyanobacteria for photosynthesis, also protects living organisms from genetic damage by solar ultraviolet radiation. Its current composition is the product of billions of years of biochemical modification of the paleoatmosphere by living organisms.

BIOSPHERE
The biosphere is the part of the Earth, including air, land, surface rocks, and water, within which life occurs, and which biotic processes in turn modify or transform. From the broadest biophysiological point of view, the biosphere is the global ecological system integrating all living beings and their relationships, including their interaction with the elements of the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. This biosphere is postulated to have evolved, beginning through a process of biogenesis or biopoesis, at least some 3.5 billion years ago. Biomass accounts for about 3.7 kg carbon per square meter of the earth's surface averaged over land and sea, making a total of about 1900 gigatonnes of carbon.

NITROGEN OXIDE
The term nitrogen oxide typically refers to any binary compound of oxygen and nitrogen, or to a mixture of such compounds:
* Nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen(II) oxide
* Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrogen(IV) oxide
* Nitrous oxide (N2O), nitrogen (I) oxide
* Dinitrogen trioxide (N2O3), nitrogen(II, IV) oxide
* Dinitrogen tetroxide (N2O4), nitrogen(IV) oxide
* Dinitrogen pentoxide (N2O5), nitrogen(V) oxide
(Note that the last three are unstable.)
Chemical reactions that produce nitrogen oxides often produce several different compounds, the proportions of which depend on the specific reaction and conditions. For this reason, secondary production of N2O is undesirable, as NO and NO2 — which are extremely toxic — are liable to be produced as well.

EXTINCTION EVENT
An extinction event (also known as: mass extinction; extinction-level event, ELE) is a sharp decrease in the number of species in a relatively short period of time. Mass extinctions affect most major taxonomic groups present at the time — birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates and other simpler life forms. They may be caused by one or both of:
* extinction of an unusually large number of species in a short period.
* a sharp drop in the rate of speciation.
Over 99% of species that ever lived are now extinct, but extinction occurs at an uneven rate. Based on the fossil record, the background rate of extinctions on Earth is about two to five taxonomic families of marine invertebrates and vertebrates every million years. Marine fossils are mostly used to measure extinction rates because they are more plentiful and cover a longer time span than fossils of land organisms.
