yayyayayayaya...weekend aftermath of...nothing really....watched 3 films - shutter, the bank job and VANTAGE POINT....can you say well done intelligent film? Yea twas great....even Rich said it wasn't bad....then again I don't look to him for any real reviews....moving along....station on Friday was good as usual; good music...Carlos was going on about some new track that's in two genres.....really good stuff he said....Been really getting back into NFS...speed for need to you backward ppl.... Heroes Day today....means good day for the beach.....everyone seemed to think so as the closet beach to me was entirely populated....I think...pc maintennace was the order of the day as usual on free days when I feel like the work mood...

About the lapse

Can't remember what font or size I was using pre-april 08.....nevertheless what a big lapse it has been....the so called break occurred from laziness and partly laziness and some more laziness...not much main events missed but I
left the slavework of a job, signed up to gmx, partied at 4 big events and watched a whole bunch of films
(untraceable, the eye, borderland, 1 missed call, run fat boy run, horton hears a who, 10000bc). Not to forget endless pc maintenance...
Heard talk of people seeing Jesus crying in a hospital window. true or false..hard to tell....got some april fools jokes in, this year by text....imagine I still haven't taken that pic of the rock for this blog header.....I really meant for this blog to go another route...you know rather than such personal posts, something more national, more barbadian news stories and such...
right moving along in this long post to try and fill in the space....can't remember much from march (not even much in my physical diary), but april on the other hand......started out with as much rest as possible...a lot of what I call do-nothing days....did much tee designs (even new label icd tees)....resumed playing nfsu2 and frapped some images.....
There's no more two-dollar tuesdays at the olympus..it's 3bucks, they should have changed it every since...all those dollars they lost....and believe they still haven't got step up 2, talked to phil this morn and he said it's been very difficult with that particular film....and what is wrong with filenanny, seems to have died...had some of my mixes stored there.....been getting into esnips (saving from cache), loading vault and some blogs...blogs that allow downloading from rapidshare and such fast-file-upload-sites...(these BLOG guys bordering on their perspective blog-host guidelines/terms of use - even one got removed)....I did two mixes, one club-electro (that DJ carlos praised somewhat) and a dancehall preview 2008...(touching demarco, bugle, serani, deva bratt; the new top jamaican deejays)...oh in the 44day gap I found the "truth" of Barbados Free Press - www.barbadosfreepressexposed.wordpress.com AND the first time I saw a pedal-car-bike in bim, not one but two, ridden on the princess alice highway, I think that was just before the smoker's/get high day - april 20. April also the month of earth day...plant a tree dudes....oh and ubuntu 8 - heron something is out TODAY!

I'm back, here to breathe new life back into this part of the blogosphere...what a big lapse...I know approx 44 days...a lot would have happened in that time...movies seen, parties, pop culture news happenings, music additions..all sorts of stuff that I'll get into soon enough

I saw two films since last post....Jumper on Monday night and Sweeny Todd on Tuesday...Loved them..that's all I can say.... even they was an error in each...can't remember though...trailers on Monday were Narnia, Spiderwick Chronicles, Wanted, Ironman, Drillbit Taylor, Leatherheads and The Ruins...Tuesday was Untraceable (opened on wednesday here and I'm going to see it this weekend), 21, 10000bc, Jumper and No Country For Old Men (also opened here wednesday)..Realized Stage 6 shut down..how sad..they directed you to a veoh.com..poor alternative...Took a very leisurely walk with rich last night to the usual...actually found ny employer's address by mistake...Watched KNIGHT RIDER 08...very nice car, poor actors...I got sara bareilles, michael jackson and booty luv albums really nice...also got jay z - "roc boys", aidonia, beenie man - "better than glue", the hives - "tick tick boom" and cansei de ser sexy - "music is my hot hot sex" nice stuffs man...I'm off to mom's store the entire flippin day...how boring...

Fricking Time finaflickinglly

Today, I have time...for myself for whatever I wish to do...long time I had time...time is essential...

Mix on friday was lovely...brilliant, went to south after for pizza (horrid pizza) and after JUMBIES...twas really busy, many people, which isn't usual (past fridays were surprisingly dead empty). Imagine no DJ's upstairs, partying only downstairs is just sucky man..same music every friday? Yes. Those "disc jockeys" fail. I don't think I'll ever party there on a friday again....
Saw Rambo at the cinema on sat...really nice, reminded me of 300...THE GRUESOME KILLINGS...man. Missed the previews because Mandy wanted stuffs to munch...bloody incompetent ppl ran out of popcorn which resulted in long flipping lines....Shiiiiiit man....
Yes time is lovely when it's free...basic pc maintenance was the first order...then catching up on my frequently visited sites.....I'm going to see Jumper tonight...Hope it's the opposite of what the critics have been saying.....evil critics...evil. Oh I have to get the television movie pilot KNIGHT RIDER. Currently looking up Richard Branson and Natalie Imbruglia...Annie is back from holiday today...I called her and requested Filter "Take A Picture" this morn....Maybe I'll do a mix later...maybe.

Low Key

Another friday, another post...

So been keepin it low key, trying rather, not really succeeding..worked hard as france last SATURDAY, why? Oh just because I took the day before off...Holetown fest was weekend, couldn't go, missed hot motorsport action at bushy park..Went into shopppe Monday, boring boring, Jermaine and J2 passed through, saw Mandy in town, was intoduced to her friend Kerri...found a neat hideaway pc/dvd thingy store in a lil' mall...tasted that horrible horrid meal from Big Johns "fish and bake"....ewwww man. Bought 2prs headphones (just in case) ......on to Tuesday, did a disc for neighbour's sister and started that project. JMPR opened on Wednesday here, going to see it on weekend (maybe with mandy)..I've got an ad in the nation selling J2 stuffs...y.day I cooked veg chowmein...took a very leisurely walk to a.shores.....saw my friend Akilah on the 7pm news, congrats on that scholarship dudette! Haven't made any tee designs for all of Feb..really behind, havent heard from Raj in a long long time.....almost forgot, the good guys at gadget central have an apple macbook air for sale @ 2450us...

It is the last day of the month...to party 2nite I think I might, after station. I'm off to work now as I'm horribly late...
